| July 6, 2005 - The Last Post This xanga site will no longer be updated from this moment on forward. It's been close to 1000 days (2 and a half years) that I've blogged in this, and when I started this site, the date was December 28, 2002. I've moved on forward in life, and all the entries in this blog have marked my high school stage of life since the beginning of sophomore year. Ever since graduating from high school, a new chapter has begun for me as I step forward toward the next stage in life: college. Thus, in saying this, I will continue my ramblings in a new blog, as if the new blog marks the beginning of the next chapter in my life as well. (The host/server of my new blog has not been determined yet, and I may not necessarily be continuing with Xanga.) This is the last post that I'll ever write in this Xanga. As I look back at my old entries, I am surprised at how much I've progressed throughout my life, and reading my old posts gives me memories of events in the past, whether good or bad. I've used the Xanga for different purposes, whether to rant about what's going on in my life (as that's what the majority of the entries are composed of), posting quiz results, voicing out my opinions on various matters and controversial issues, blogging about my feelings through the use of metaphoric stories, posting photos of guys I like or think are handsome (yeah, a lot of my entries, I noticed, were full of those...haha), or commenting on other people's xangas. I've enjoyed every bit of moment blogging on this site, and Xanga has certainly satisfied all my blogging needs. I also was able to connect with a lot of other fellow bloggers during my stay with Xanga, such as people from long distances like Hong Kong or Australia, and I would like to say to all those people who actually read my posts, "Thank you for enduring all those long hours reading my long posts and tolerating the boredom that comes along with reading my entries. And thanks for all those props and comments! They make me happy!" Though I will cease blogging on this site altogether, I will, of course, continue writing comments and giving props to other xangans. I will miss blogging in this site now and forevermore, though I will keep it to reminisce the memories of the past during my high school years as I go on to my next chapter in life with new beginnings.....and also a new blog. Farewell. PS: If you want to know the link to my new blog (which I haven't yet created, but will soon), IM me on my screenname (I may also consider providing a link on my AIM profile), send me a message, or just talk to me personally. Update: The new blog has now gone into effect. |
